कृष्णः द्रौपदीं रक्षति

The Court Falls Silent
दुर्योधनस्य आज्ञया दुःशासनः — द्रौपद्याः वस्त्रम् हर्तुम् उद्यतः। द्रौपदी सर्वत्र दृष्टिं दिदेश — भीष्मः, द्रोणः, विदुरः — सर्वे उपविष्टाः। "मम रक्षणं न करिष्यति कोऽपि?" भीमः, अर्जुनः — परन्तु ते दासाः आसन् — असहायाः। सभायां धर्मः रुदन्नासीदिव।
By Duryodhana's command, Dushasana — rose to snatch Draupadi's garment. Draupadi looked in every direction — Bhishma, Drona, Vidura — all sat in their places. "Will no one protect me?" Bhima, Arjuna — but they were enslaved — helpless. It was as though dharma itself wept in that assembly.
